Stone Chat Cottage, Gwahumbe Game Lodge & Spa

After an awesome scenic walk, partly through the Aloe Garden, guests are welcomed to an amazing paradise of a large variety of birds attracted to the thick wall of trees surrounding this lodge and its private boma.

A revamp project. The client asked for a total revamp of this outdated 2 storey 4 sleeper lodge.

By expanding the ground floor, we created a large open plan kitchen and living space which leads out onto a private deck overhanging a cliff for breath-taking views and sundowners. Sharing these views is a new separate bedroom with its own indulgent bath and indoor/outdoor shower; to relax and unwind after a long day.

Stairs off the living area, lead you up to a cosy and inviting second bedroom and en-suite.

The design lends itself to a real “Bush Lodge” atmosphere. You’ll feel transported to the peace and tranquillity of an authentic African experience.
